Commuter Air Technology Names Bill Coultrup as Director for Global Threats and Response

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Commuter Air Technology, Inc. (CAT), an AGC Aerospace & Defense company, has named Bill Coultrup as Director for Global Threats and Response.  Coultrup (COL., Special Forces, retired), brings a distinguished, 30-year career of military service to the position.

As Director for Global Threats and Response for the Oklahoma City-based company, Coultrup is responsible for worldwide expeditionary and contingency operations, developing Special Operations (both U.S. and Allied) relationships and identifying R&D technology that would be beneficial to CAT.

Prior to his position with CAT, Coultrup served as Chief, Congressional Affairs, for U.S. Special Operations Command and prior to that was the commander for Joint Special Operations Task Force – Philippines. 

Coultrup spent 24 years in Special Operations units and was deployed in hostile environments for more than nine years. Those deployments included Desert Storm, Provide Comfort, operations in Somalia (1993), the Balkans, South America, Operation Enduring Freedom (two tours), Operation Iraqi Freedom (three tours) and Enduring Freedom – Philippines.

Coultrup is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a BS in Engineering Technology-Electronics, an MS in International Relations from Troy State University and an MS in Strategic Studies from the National War College. He has affiliations with the Special Forces Association, National Defense Industrial Association, Association of the U.S. Army and Office of Strategic Service Society.  “I am honored and pleased to be associated with an enterprise that enables me to continue serving my country by sustaining the efforts of my uniformed colleagues and friends,” says Coultrup.
